Among the releases of the 80s, BI NOSTALGIA, during the recording of the cassette "ART is NOT Much" (TLOTG), Luca asked FIORI CARONES ALBERTO for a contribution for this work for a four-handed work. In 1988 (it seems prehistoric but that's how it went), the only way to share a collaboration without meeting the person was to "physically send" a box by post.
Alberto recorded and sent Luca a short piece for piano which, once completed, was poured into a c12 Endless TDK Tape cassette. In another similar cassette, BI NOSTALGIA recorded a second keyboard part with the addition of two loops, finally playing the two cassettes in sync and fixing them permanently on tape. He recorded a version of it for "ART is NOT Much", later assigning a second version as a bonus track for the "Cathedrals EP" cassette.
Today, with the aim of reviving the spirit of collaboration at a distance and with the help and support of Stefano Gentile, two artists recommended by Luca have been involved to reinterpret the original work with their sensitivity, adapting it to the sounds of the new Millennium. In addition to the remastering of the two 1988 versions, BI NOSTALGIA conceived a deconstruction of the song, linking some fragments in loops, creating an original adaptation.
The title of the piece was freely inspired by the reading of Fleur Jaeggy's novel "The Water Statues" [Adelphi, 1980].
BI NOSTALGIA, aka Luca Rigato costituì insieme a David E.H. il nucleo degli ENDLESS NOSTALGIA, cult band del post-punk elettronico italiano, attiva tra il 1982 e il 1992.
Dal 1985, BI NOSTALGIA iniziò un percorso solistico alternando vari progetti con canzoni e lavori esclusivamente strumentali, esclusivamente pubblicati su cassetta.
Tra il 2016 e il 2018 sono state ristampate da Silentes/re-TLOTG, le registrazioni delle cassette, corredate dalle grafiche originali e bonus tracks. L'ultimo disco uscito nel 2019 (disponibile in CD) è "The King in Yellow", ispirato ai racconti di Richard Chambers.

Ne registrò una versione per "ART is NOT Much", destinando successivamente una seconda versione come bonus track per la cassetta "Cathedrals EP".
Oggi, con l'obiettivo di riproporre lo spirito di collaborazione a distanza e con l’aiuto e il supporto di Stefano Gentile, sono stati coinvolti due artisti segnalati da Luca, a reinterpretare con la loro sensibilità il lavoro originario, adattandolo alle sonorità del nuovo millennio. Oltre al lavoro di rimasterizzazione delle due versioni del 1988, BI NOSTALGIA ha concepito una destrutturazione del brano, collegando in loops alcuni frammenti, creandone un adattamento originale.
Il titolo del brano è stato liberamente ispirato alla lettura del romanzo di Fleur Jaeggy "Le Statue d'Acqua" [Adelphi, 1980].
